Job Title: Area Sales Manager – FMCG (General Trade)

About The Role
We are seeking a proactive and dynamic
Area Sales Manager to lead the General Trade sales operations for our FMCG product portfolio, including
Biscuits,Snacks, Namkeen, Home Care, Personal Care, and Kitchen Care categories. The role demands leadership in distribution expansion, team management, and driving sales growth across multiple districts.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of Sales Officers across assigned territories.
- Drive business growth through distributors and channel partners.
- Ensure product placement, visibility, and availability across GT channels.
- Monitor daily sales performance and achieve revenue & distribution targets.
- Develop and implement trade promotions, market activations, and visibility programs.
- Coordinate with supply chain and marketing for smooth execution.
- Conduct market visits for performance monitoring and competitor tracking.
- Recruit, train, and motivate the field sales team.
- Maintain healthy credit control and collection discipline.
Key Requirements
- Graduate (MBA in Sales/Marketing preferred).
- 5–8 years of experience in FMCG General Trade
- Proven track record in team handling, distributor management, and sales growth.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and leadership skills.
- Two-wheeler with valid driving license is mandatory.
- Candidates from Namkeen or Snacks category preferred.
