Role Description

This full-time, on-site Area Sales Manager position is based in Ahmedabad. The Area Sales Manager will oversee and drive sales strategies within an assigned region, focusing on growing market share, achieving sales targets, and managing relationships with distributors. Responsibilities include monitoring sales performance, identifying growth opportunities, developing promotional plans, and enhancing distributor and retail partnerships. The role involves leading a sales team, providing training and support, and ensuring efficient execution of business processes in alignment with organizational goals.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in sales, business development, and distributor management.
  • Strong skills in negotiation, relationship-building, and communication to manage and grow partnerships effectively.
  • Ability to analyze market trends, forecast sales, and develop strategic sales plans.
  • Team leadership experience, including mentoring, coaching, and managing sales personnel.
  • Proficiency in reporting, data analysis, and using CRM or sales tools.
  • High adaptability to dynamic market environments and ability to implement solutions to overcome sales challenges.
  • Experience in the consumer electronics and/or smart wearable sector is a significant advantage.
  • Willingness to travel within the assigned region as required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or related field preferred.
