Role Description

We are seeking an experienced Area Sales Manager to oversee and drive sales activities in Guwahati for entire North East. This full-time, on-site role involves managing sales operations, developing customer relationships, achieving revenue targets, and growing market share within the assigned area. You will recruit, train, and supervise sales teams, identify new market opportunities, monitor competitor activities, and provide insights on enhancing the overall sales strategy. Additionally, you will ensure the proper execution of promotional plans and maintain strong relationships with distribution networks.

Qualifications

  • Strong sales and negotiation skills with proven experience in achieving sales targets.
  • Excellent leadership and team management abilities, including hiring and training sales personnel.
  • Market research and analytical skills to identify trends, potential growth areas, and competitor strategies.
  • Experience in managing distribution networks and fostering relationships with retail partners.
  • Knowledge of the food and spices industry or related sectors is a significant advantage.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM systems.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field; an MBA or equivalent is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel within the assigned territory as required.
  • Must have background of FMCG.
