Job Description

Job Position: Area Sales Manager

Job Location: Chennai

Responsibilities

  • Establish the company and product portfolio amongst influencers, decision makers, end users, biomedical engineers and purchase departments, both for private accounts and projects.
  • Leverage an existing & robust dealer/channel partner network.
  • Build & nurture relationships with doctors, KOL's and decision makers across relevant institutions.
  • Drive Anesthesia & critical care product portfolio in the designated territory.
  • Increase product visibility by regular product demonstrations and promotions tailored to clients needs & expectations.
  • Drive business development & sales initiatives to expand the company's footprint.
  • Focus on providing solutions to customers and thereby building a huge installation base.
  • Expand market presence in Tamil Nadu & Puducherry.
  • Possess deep knowledge of the assigned territory's geography to ensure efficient coverage & market penetration.
  • Achieve & exceed set objectives and targets set by the organization.

Qualifications

  • Educational Background: Biomedical Engineering/ B.Tech/ Bachelor's degree in science or related fields.
  • Experience: 5 plus years of experience in the medical device sales.
  • Market Knowledge: Preferred: Anesthesia & Critical care market, but not mandatory. Working experience in the territory of Tamil Nadu and Puducherry. Strong rapport with purchase dept, Biomedical Engineers of various hospitals and decision makers for the department or hospital, for the product represented thus far.
  • Self-driven, motivated and result - oriented.
  • Skills: Strong communication, interpersonal skills and possess excellent negotiation and sales closing skills.
