Role Overview:
The Area Sales Manager will be responsible for driving primary and secondary sales, managing distributors & dealers, expanding market presence, and achieving revenue, volume, and profitability targets for the assigned region.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales & Revenue Growth
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Drive primary & secondary sales with market penetration.
- Monitor competitor activities and execute strategies.
2. Channel Management
- Appoint, manage, and develop distributors and dealers.
- Ensure distributor ROI and stock movement.
- Maintain strong relations with channel partners.
3. Market Development
- Identify new business opportunities.
- Expand channel network and improve brand visibility.
- Conduct market mapping and forecasting.
4. Team Management (If Applicable)
- Lead and motivate TSMs / Sales Officers.
- Conduct training sessions for channel partners.
5. Customer Relationship Management
- Build long-term customer relationships.
- Handle escalations and major sales closures.
6. Reporting & Compliance
- Maintain sales reports and dashboards.
- Ensure policy adherence and scheme implementation.
Key Skills & Competencies:
- Strong channel sales expertise.
- Good negotiation and communication skills.
- Understanding of battery/energy sector preferred.
- Market networking and problem-solving ability.
Qualification & Experience:
- Education: Graduate; MBA preferred.
- Experience: 410 years in Sales (Battery/Energy/Auto parts preferred).
Salary & Benefits:
- Proposed Budget: 56 LPA + Incentives.
