Job Summary:
We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented State Area Sales Manager (ASM) with hands-on experience in field sales. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in FMCG distribution or automobile sales, with the ability to drive business growth, manage channel partners, and expand market presence across the assigned state.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute effective sales strategies to achieve state-wise targets
Manage and expand distributor and dealer networks
Identify new business opportunities and drive market penetration
Ensure strong relationship management with distributors, retailers, and key stakeholders
Monitor sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities
Lead field sales activities and ensure consistent on-ground execution
Coordinate with internal teams for smooth operations and timely deliveries
Ensure collection efficiency and adherence to company policies
Requirements:
2–3 years of field sales experience (mandatory)
Prior experience in FMCG distribution or automobile industry
Strong knowledge of local markets and distribution channels
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
Ability to travel extensively within the assigned state
Self-motivated, target-driven, and result-oriented mindset
Preferred Skills:
Team handling or distributor management experience
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and take ownership
