Role Summary
The Area Manager Payment Lounge (Online Acquiring) will be responsible for driving business growth in the online acquiring segment through merchant onboarding, and portfolio management.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive business development for online acquiring (payment gateway) products within the assigned region.
- Identify SME and Enterprise potential merchants across various sectors.
- Identify, onboard, and manage merchants and partners to grow transaction volumes and revenue.
- Manage end-to-end merchant lifecycle including onboarding, activation, and retention.
- Manage relationships with key clients, ensuring smooth operations and resolution of service issues.
- Conduct market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive positioning
- Coordinate with product, risk, operations, and technology teams to enable seamless merchant integration and transaction processing.
- Monitor performance metrics, market trends, and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- 35 years of experience in online acquiring, digital payments, or merchant services.
- Good understanding of payment gateways, digital payments, and the fintech industry.
- Proven ability to meet business targets and manage key accounts effectively.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
