Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and target-driven Area Sales Manager (ASM) to lead sales operations within the assigned territory. The candidate will be responsible for achieving sales targets, developing distributor and dealer networks, increasing market penetration, and driving business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for the assigned territory.
- Appoint, manage, and develop distributors, dealers, and channel partners.
- Expand market coverage and identify new business opportunities.
- Conduct regular market visits to meet dealers, retailers, and customers.
- Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to increase revenue.
- Ensure effective product availability and market visibility.
- Build strong relationships with distributors, dealers, and key customers.
- Collect market intelligence regarding competitors, pricing, and customer requirements.
- Ensure timely collection of payments and outstanding dues.
- Coordinate with the marketing team for promotional activities and campaigns.
- Prepare and submit sales reports, market feedback, and forecasting reports.
- Guide and support field sales staff to improve productivity and performance.

Requirements
Qualification
- Bachelor's Degree in any discipline.
- MBA in Sales/Marketing preferred.
Experience
- 5–8 years of experience in sales, preferably in Agriculture, Fertilizers, Agrochemicals, or related industries.
- Experience in handling distributors and dealer networks is mandatory.
