Job Description

Role & Responsibilities

Distributor Management

  • Manage distributor performance and handle distributor claims efficiently.
  • Shortlist and recommend distributors for partnership.
  • Address and resolve complaints promptly to maintain good distributor relationships.

Driving Sales

  • Measure potential of the assigned territory.
  • List all outlets using TSI and PSRs for accurate coverage.
  • Classify outlets based on potential into categories A, B, and C.
  • Develop route maps for optimum coverage and field efficiency.
  • Achieve primary and secondary sales targets consistently.
  • Ensure product availability and visibility at all points of sale.
  • Implement promotional schemes to boost sales.
  • Oversee merchandising activities to enhance brand presence.

Workforce Management

  • Monitor productivity of Sales Representatives (SR) and District Sales Managers (DSM).
  • Identify suitable candidates for Sales Representative roles.
  • Conduct induction and training programs for SRs and DSMs to build a capable sales force.

Preferred Candidate Profile

  • Mandatory experience in FMCG sector.
  • MBA qualification preferred.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Sales Force Automation (SFA) tools and MS Excel.
