Role Overview:
The Area Sales Executive will be responsible for driving primary and secondary sales, managing distribution networks, and building strong relationships with key retail accounts. This is a field-focused role requiring hands-on experience in on-ground sales and market execution.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and drive primary and secondary sales within the assigned territory
Oversee General Trade (GT) and Super Stockist/Distributor operations
Handle and expand the distribution network, including distributors, wholesalers, and retailers
Identify and engage key accounts (high business volume retailers) to maximize sales growth
Ensure effective coverage, visibility, and availability of products in the market
Monitor stock levels, order cycles, and replenishment planning
Execute sales plans, promotions, and market development activities
Track competitor activity and provide market insights
Maintain accurate sales reports and data using Excel; prepare presentations (PPT as needed)
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelors degree in any discipline; MBA preferred
Proven on-ground sales experience in a similar role
Experience in FMCG, CPG, or Food processing categories preferred.
