Role: Area Sales Executive
Location: Hyderabad
Experience: 3-6 Years preferred
Segment: Pet Nutrition
Must have: General Trade, Hyderabad Territory exposure, Presentation & Analytics like MS Excel and PowerPoint.
Role Overview:
The Area Sales Executive will be responsible for driving primary and secondary sales, managing distribution networks, and building strong relationships with key retail accounts. This is a field-focused role requiring hands-on experience in on-ground sales and market execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and drive primary and secondary sales within the assigned territory
- Oversee General Trade (GT) and Super Stockist/Distributor operations
- Handle and expand the distribution network, including distributors, wholesalers, and retailers
- Identify and engage key accounts (high business volume retailers) to maximize sales growth
- Ensure effective coverage, visibility, and availability of products in the market
- Monitor stock levels, order cycles, and replenishment planning
- Execute sales plans, promotions, and market development activities
- Track competitor activity and provide market insights
- Maintain accurate sales reports and data using Excel; prepare presentations (PPT as needed)
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelors degree in any discipline; MBA preferred
- Proven on-ground sales experience in a similar role
- Experience in FMCG, CPG, or Food processing categories preferred
- Strong understanding of local market dynamics, especially North Goa geography

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (mandatory) and PowerPoint (preferred)
