Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Development
- Identify and develop new B2B customers in Chennai industrial zones
- Generate leads through field visits, cold calls, and references
- Develop strong pipeline of manufacturing & construction clients
Field Sales Activities
- Daily visits to factories, construction sites & industrial clients
- Meet Purchase Managers, Safety Officers, Maintenance Heads & Plant Managers
- Conduct product presentations and demonstrations
- Understand client safety requirements and recommend suitable solutions
Sales Target Achievement
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets
- Prepare quotations and negotiate pricing
- Follow up for order closure and payment collection
Relationship Management
- Maintain long-term relationships with clients
- Develop dealer/distributor network in assigned territory
- Monitor competitor activity and market trends
Candidate Profile
- 13 years of experience in B2B field sales
- Preferably from:
- Industrial Safety Products
- PPE / MRO Supplies
- Construction Materials
- Electrical / Mechanical Industrial Products
- Strong communication & negotiation skills
- Ability to handle industrial clients independently
- Target-driven and result-oriented
- Two-wheeler mandatory
- Chennai market knowledge preferred
Qualification
- Any Graduate / Diploma in Engineering preferred
