Area Operations Manager

Role Description The Area Operations Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Bhubaneswar, responsible for overseeing the daily operations of multiple Kruti Coffee outlets in the region. This role includes ensuring consistent service standards, managing store performance, monitoring inventory levels, and coordinating with supply chain and central operations. The Area Operations Manager will lead and mentor outlet managers and teams, drive sales and profitability, and ensure adherence to brand, quality, hygiene, and safety guidelines. The position also involves analyzing operational data, implementing process improvements, supporting new outlet launches, and fostering a customer-centric culture aligned with Kruti Coffee's specialty and fair-trade values.

Qualifications

• Strong operations management skills, including multi-outlet supervision, process optimization, and performance monitoring.
• Experience in food and beverage, QSR or hospitality environments, preferably with specialty coffee or café formats.
• Team leadership and people management abilities, with experience in coaching, scheduling, and resolving staff issues.
• Customer service and quality assurance skills, with a focus on delivering consistent, high-quality guest experiences.
• Business acumen in budgeting, cost control, and basic financial analysis to manage profitability and growth.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with store teams, central office, and external partners.
• Proficiency in using POS systems, basic MS Office tools, and operational reporting dashboards.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Hospitality Management, Retail Management, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent is an advantage.
• Ability to work on-site in Bhubaneswar, travel between outlets as needed, and work flexible hours including weekends.
• Interest in specialty coffee, sustainable sourcing, and fair trade practices is highly desirable.
