Job Description
Area Manager at IndiaMART is a mid-level leadership role focused on driving B2B subscription sales, managing channel partners, and leading on-ground sales teams within a designated geographical region.
Core Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Management: Oversee the hiring, training, and retention of on-ground sales executives and channel partners. Conduct daily briefings to set expectations and monitor performance.
Sales Target Achievement: Accountable for meeting and exceeding daily, weekly, and monthly acquisition targets per the company's Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Performance Tracking & Analytics: Monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as data quality, lead generation, sales funnel velocity, and overall sales productivity.
Channel Management: Drive the sale of paid subscription packages by effectively engaging channel partners and ensuring timely partner payouts after due diligence.
Education: Typically requires a Bachelor's degree (B.Tech/B.E.) or an MBA/PGDM
Experience: Usually 3 to 8 years in B2B/Channel Sales, with at least 1–2 years in managing a team of 10+ individuals.
Key Skills: Strong consultative sales approach, networking abilities, report management, and data alignment.
