About The Role

We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented area manager/medical representative with strong exposure to the pediatrics segment . The candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining professional relationships with pediatricians and relevant specialists to generate quality referrals.

Key Responsibilities

• Meet and build strong professional relationships with pediatricians, pediatric neurologists, and developmental pediatricians.
• Conduct regular doctor visits within the assigned area.
• Generate patient referrals from doctors through effective communication and relationship management.
• Create awareness about the organization's services and offerings among relevant medical professionals.
• Maintain strong and long-term relationships with doctors and key stakeholders.
• Identify new doctors and referral opportunities within the assigned territory.
• Maintain regular follow-ups with doctors and track referral opportunities.
• Achieve referral-generation objectives through effective territory management.
  
  

Important Scope of the Role

• Only doctor visits are required: pediatricians, pediatric neurologists, and developmental pediatricians.
• No chemist visits.
• No stockist visits.
• No primary sales targets.
• No secondary sales targets.
• The primary focus is doctor engagement and referral generation .
  
  

Candidate Profile

• Graduate in any relevant discipline; pharmaceutical/medical sales background preferred.
• 5 to 7+ years of experience as a senior medical representative, area business manager (ABM), or regional business manager (RBM).
• Strong experience specifically in the Pediatrics segment is required.
• Candidates should have existing exposure to the same/assigned territory .
• Strong doctor-connect and relationship-management skills.
• Good communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Self-driven, target-oriented, and comfortable with field-based work.
• Age should be below 40 years .
  
  

Expectation

An experienced pediatrics-focused medical sales professional who has strong relationships with pediatricians and pediatric specialists in the assigned area and is comfortable working primarily on doctor engagement and referral generation , without chemist/stockist visits or primary/secondary sales responsibilities.
