Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Area Manager role based in Coimbatore. The Area Manager will oversee day-to-day operations across assigned locations, ensuring efficient last-mile fulfillment and adherence to service standards. Responsibilities include planning and monitoring delivery performance, managing local teams, coordinating with vendors and partners, and resolving operational issues in a timely manner. The role involves tracking key metrics, preparing regular operational reports, and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction. The Area Manager will also collaborate with cross-functional teams, support new client onboarding in the region, and ensure compliance with company policies and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in operations, logistics, supply chain, or area/territory management, preferably in last-mile or hyper-local delivery environments.
  • Strong people management skills, including team supervision, performance monitoring, coaching, and conflict resolution.
  • Ability to analyze operational data, track KPIs, and use insights to drive process improvements and problem-solving.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management skills to work with internal teams, partners, and enterprise customers.
  • Comfort with basic digital tools and platforms used for routing, tracking, reporting, and coordination.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, Supply Chain, or a related field; equivalent relevant experience may be considered.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to be on-site in Coimbatore and travel within the assigned area as required.
