As a Contract Logistics Specialist at Kuehne+Nagel, you will manage end-to-end warehousing operations for our customers. By doing so with precision, you not only contribute to the success of your team, but also to the day-to-day operations and success in the warehouse and distribution centres. For example, storing and delivering delicate flowers and fresh ingredients to local stores for everyday lunches and family celebrations. You will be part of our Contract Logistics team, adding your leadership expertise + skills to the delivery of Business Growth. Your primary objective will be to develop existing or new Contract Logistics business by coordinating all business development actions + triggering opportunities for larger accounts at a country or cluster level.

How you create impact

  • To develop + manage a sizeable pipeline of opportunities, actively driving each opportunity through the entire Customer Engagement Cycle.
  • To lead commercial negotiations + create high quality business proposals.
  • To actively develop + maintain customer contacts along with a network of prospects.
  • To actively network + link with other colleagues (Subject matter experts, Vertical Specialists, Account Managers) at every level of the organisation, from global to regional to country.
  • To highlight achievements in the business development space using a variety of dynamic tools.
  • o capture + manage business + market intelligence, ensuring the communication of same to key stakeholders.
  • To drive + roll-out yearly business development plans.

What we would like you to bring

  • Minimum 810 years of experience in Contract Logistics or 3PL business development, preferably in a country or cluster-level role
  • Preferred candidate who have strong knowledge in the West India.
  • Proven track record of winning new business and developing key accounts.
  • Deep understanding of warehouse and distribution operations, including solution design and cost modeling.
  • Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to manage complex sales cycles with multiple stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
