DESCRIPTION:

Join our dynamic sales team at Thermo Fisher Scientific , Pune as a Supervisor Account Manager ( Area Business Manager ) In this role, you'll lead and mentor a team of Account Managers while driving sales growth and fostering strong customer relationships. You'll play a crucial part in our mission to enable customers to make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer. This position combines people management responsibilities with strategic account management, requiring you to oversee team performance, develop talent, and implement sales strategies across your assigned territory Pune , Rest of Maharashtra & Goa .

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor a team of Account Managers, providing guidance, support, and performance management
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve and exceed revenue targets
  • Foster strong relationships with key accounts and identify new business opportunities
  • Collaborate with cross- functional teams to ensure customer satisfaction and drive business growth
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to inform strategic decisions
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and industry regulations
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of sales training programs
  • Manage budget and resources effectively to maximize team performance and profitability

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's / Master's degree required in Life Science , Biotechnology , Management Degree prefrerable
  • Minimum of 6- 8 years of experience in sales or account management, preferably in the life sciences or scientific products industry
  • Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets and drive business growth
  • Strong understanding of the scientific products market and customer needs
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and data analysis tools
  • Ability to travel up to 30- 40% of the time
  • Strong problem-solving and decision- making skills
  • Experience in developing and implementing sales strategies
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast- paced, dynamic environment
