Roles & Responsibilities
- You will be responsible for recognizing potential hazards during critical maintenance activities and coordinating safety requirements through work permits, LOTO implementation, and JSA reviews to ensure full compliance with SH&E norms.
- You will be responsible for planning and monitoring predictive, preventive, and shutdown maintenance of electrical systems and utilities, maintaining good housekeeping, and ensuring availability of critical spares while minimizing consumption.
- You will be responsible for performing equipment qualification and validation activities, preparing documentation in line with ISO, cGMP, USP, ISPE, IBR, and ISO 8573 guidelines.
- You will be responsible for operating and maintaining HVAC systems including chillers, compressors, cooling towers, and boilers, as well as ensuring smooth functioning of central water distribution operations.
- You will be responsible for implementing and maintaining control and automation systems, performing frequent backups, and identifying new areas for automation to reduce downtime.
- You will be responsible for troubleshooting breakdowns, performing CAPA using RCA, Why-Why, and incident investigation techniques, and ensuring MTTR and MTBF benchmarks are met.
- You will be responsible for training team members on basic maintenance procedures and tools, monitoring computerized maintenance systems, and supporting lean initiatives such as 5S, Kaizen, and Autonomous Maintenance.
- You will be responsible for coordinating small project modifications with plant leads, initiating purchase requisitions, inspecting received spares, and supporting budget estimation and forecasting for departmental activities.
Educational Qualification
Diploma / Graduation in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or related field is mandatory.
Minimum Work Experience
3+ / 6+ years of experience.

Critical Exposures
- Experience in operating and maintaining utility systems (HVAC, compressed air, steam) / water systems (Purified Water, WFI, water treatment plants / boilers) across Pharmaceutical, FMCG industries / OEM is desired.
- Exposure to monitoring and responding to utility alarms and troubleshooting system issues to maintain optimal system performance is preferred.
- Experience in preparing and maintaining documentation, including maintenance logs and operational checks for utility/water systems, is desired.
- Exposure in energy efficiency projects and utility upgrades and automation initiatives (BMS, SCADA) is preferred.
