Role Description The Area Business Executive – LFS (Modern Trade) – Irth Bags will manage and grow the Irth Bags business in Large Format Stores within the assigned territory. This full-time, on-site role is based in Mumbai and involves driving sales targets, tracking store-wise performance, and ensuring optimal product placement and visibility. The role includes building strong relationships with key store personnel, coordinating promotions and in-store activations, and monitoring inventory, replenishment, and stock hygiene. The Area Business Executive will regularly visit stores, analyze sales data, gather consumer and competitor insights, and share actionable feedback with internal teams. The position also requires close collaboration with merchandising, marketing, and supply chain teams to execute agreed plans and maintain brand standards at all touchpoints.
Qualifications
  • Strong modern trade / key account management capabilities, including experience handling Large Format Stores or organized retail for consumer or lifestyle brands.
  • Proficiency in sales planning, forecasting, and territory management, with the ability to track KPIs, analyze data, and drive store-wise performance.
  • Effective relationship management and negotiation skills to work with store managers, category teams, and internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to execute in-store merchandising, planograms, and visual display standards, ensuring premium brand presentation.
  • Solid understanding of retail operations, including inventory control, replenishment, and sell-through optimization.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to report insights, trends, and recommendations clearly.
  • Comfort with field-based work, including frequent store visits across the assigned area in Mumbai and nearby markets.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Retail Management, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent post-graduate qualification is an advantage.
  • Prior experience in bags, fashion accessories, or lifestyle categories is preferred, along with a customer-centric mindset and high ownership.
