Architecture Draftsman

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Architectural Draftsman with 5+ years of hands-on experience in preparing accurate architectural drawings and construction documentation. The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge, excellent drafting skills, and the ability to coordinate closely with architects, consultants, and site teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare detailed architectural drawings including layout plans, working drawings, elevation drawings, sections, and detailing.

Develop GFC (Good for Construction) drawings and execution drawings.

Convert design concepts into precise technical drawings.

Coordinate with architects, structural consultants, MEP consultants, and site teams.

Ensure drawings comply with local building codes and regulations.

Modify and revise drawings as per client or project requirements.

Prepare BOQ drawings and assist in material quantity take-offs.

Maintain drawing records and documentation systematically.

Support project teams during execution with drawing clarifications.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Diploma or Degree in Architecture / Civil Drafting / Architectural Technology.

Minimum 5 years of professional drafting experience in architectural or interior projects.

Strong proficiency in:

AutoCAD (Mandatory)

SketchUp (Preferred)

Revit (Added Advantage)

MS Office

Strong understanding of construction detailing and site execution.

Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings.

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

Strong coordination and communication skills.

Preferred Experience:

Experience in residential, commercial, and interior fit-out projects.

Exposure to working drawings and on-site coordination.

Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
