SHIFT Timings - Work hours: US Central day shift work (8 a.m. - 5 p.m.) with a week long on-call about every 11 weeks


Primary Responsibilities:

  • Optum is looking for a skilled Dynatrace Administrator to join our team. As a Dynatrace Administrator, you will be responsible for the following:
    • Dynatrace Administration: You will aid the team with installation, configuration, and maintenance of new and existing Dynatrace environments
    • Monitoring and Troubleshooting: You will aid the team in monitoring the Dynatrace environments and troubleshooting any issues that arise
    • Migration from Dynatrace Managed to Dynatrace SaaS: You will be helping Optum set up 2 new Dynatrace SaaS environments and consolidating/migrating hundreds of Dynatrace Managed environments to the Dynatrace SaaS with Grail. This includes the configuration of the Dynatrace environments, the migration of data, and the management of the new environments
    • Documentation: Help write United Health Group oriented Dynatrace user and administrator guides as needed
  • Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). The Company may adopt, vary or rescind these policies and directives in its absolute discretion and without any limitation (implied or otherwise) on its ability to do so

Required Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of experience in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of Dynatrace OneAgents, ActiveGates and user rights/policies
  • 2+ years of experience in monitoring and troubleshooting the Dynatrace environments issues (OneAgents not connecting, setup problems, user issues, etc.)


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Dynatrace Network zone and Synthetics
  • Proven excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively with other members of the team and our user community
