Job Description

Company Description Ekarth Studio is a design and build practice focused on creating habitats that prioritize the human experience. The studio's work is rooted in three core pillars: the natural environment, traditional art and culture, and modern engineering, with the aim of engaging the human psyche. Design approaches emphasize local resources, cultural context, and the unique personalities and lifestyles of users. In addition to architectural and construction projects, Ekarth Studio regularly hosts workshops and seminars on alternative construction materials at its design studio in Amsing, fostering learning and experimentation.

Role Description The Architectural Intern will support the design team with conceptual and detailed architectural design tasks, including preparing drawings, sketches, and digital models. Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting with design research, documenting project requirements, coordinating with senior designers, and contributing to presentations and design reviews. The intern will help explore material options, sustainability considerations, and integration of traditional and modern design elements in ongoing projects. This is an internship role based in Bengaluru, structured as a hybrid position, allowing some work-from-home flexibility while requiring regular on-site collaboration and studio participation.
