Role Description

This is an on-site, full-time role for an Architectural Draughtsman located in Chennai. The Architectural Draughtsman will be responsible for preparing detailed technical drawings, plans, and layouts based on project specifications and architectural designs. The role includes collaborating with architects and project teams, analyzing technical drawings, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and revising documents as needed to reflect design changes. The Draughtsman will also assist in coordinating with other stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of project documentation.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in drafting and designing using software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and other relevant tools.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (mandatory)
• Knowledge of Revit / BIM (preferred)
• Strong understanding of architectural principles, building codes, and construction standards.
• Experience with creating detailed plans, drawings, and documentation for architectural projects.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints accurately and adapt to project specifications.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills, ensuring precision in all work.
• Ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams and meet project deadlines.
• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, or a related field.
• Prior experience in architectural drafting is preferred.
