Role Summary

We are hiring a Architectural Draftsman with strong experience in preparing infrastructure drawings for government and large-scale development projects.

This role is ideal for professionals who have hands-on experience in AutoCAD drafting, preparation of construction drawings, layout plans, sections, and coordination drawings for buildings, roads, and urban infrastructure projects.

Candidates whose experience is limited to basic drafting, interior drawings, or small residential projects will not be the right fit for this role.

Skyline Architectural Consultant is a multidisciplinary architecture, urban planning, and infrastructure consultancy delivering large-scale public-sector and infrastructure projects across India.

We collaborate with Government Departments, Urban Local Bodies, and developers to deliver technically sound, regulation-compliant, and execution-ready projects.

Key Responsibilities

1. Prepare detailed architectural drawings, plans, sections, elevations, and layouts using AutoCAD or other drafting software.
2. Develop working drawings, GFC (Good for Construction) drawings, and submission drawings as per project requirements.
3. Interpret architectural design concepts and convert them into accurate technical drawings.
4. Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, MEP consultants, and project teams to ensure drawing accuracy and completeness.
5. Revise drawings based on client feedback, site conditions, and design changes.
6. Ensure compliance with local building codes, standards, and regulations.
7. Assist in preparation of tender drawings and documentation.
8. Maintain proper documentation and version control of all drawings.
9. Conduct site visits when required to verify dimensions and gather project information.
10. Support the design team in detailing, material specifications, and construction methodologies.
11. Ensure timely delivery of drawings as per project schedules and deadlines.
12. Maintain quality and accuracy in all drafting outputs.

Must-Have Requirements (Please Apply Only If You Meet These)

Diploma / ITI / Certification in Drafting

5 years of relevant experience as a Architectural Draftsman in infrastructure or construction projects

Hands-on drafting experience in at least one of the following:

Buildings / Institutional Projects

Roads / Site Development

Urban Infrastructure Projects

Townships / Large Layout Developments

Strong ability to interpret:

Architectural drawings

Layout plans and sections

Project specifications

Experience working on government or infrastructure projects will be preferred.

Tools & Technical Proficiency (Mandatory / Preferred)

Mandatory

AutoCAD(2D drafting, detailing, layouts)

MS Office (basic documentation and coordination)

Preferred

Basic knowledge of civil 3D / Revit / infrastructure drafting tools

Understanding of BOQ drawings and quantity references
