Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Architectural Draftsman / CAD Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in architectural drafting and a flair for detailing, with a preference for experience in industrial and steel/PEB construction projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate and detailed architectural drawings, including client presentation materials and Good for Construction (GFC) drawings, in close coordination with architects.
- Collaborate with architectural and engineering teams to ensure project deliverables are met on time.
- Utilize software tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, and SketchUp proficiently. Experience with other graphic software is a plus.
- Understand and interpret architectural concepts, translating them into precise technical drawings.
- Develop detailed drawings and specifications with a strong understanding of building and construction elements, materials, and processes.
- Support team members in the preparation of construction documents and ensure compliance with design standards and client requirements.
Skills & Qualifications:
- ITI or TEB-certified Civil Draftsman or Diploma in Architectural Assistantship.
- 8 + years of architectural drafting experience with consultancy firms.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and SketchUp.
- Solid understanding of building systems, construction materials, and processes.
- Strong attention to detail and a passion for architectural detailing.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively in a multidisciplinary environment.
Preferred:
- Experience with industrial projects, including steel/PEB construction, will be an advantage.
