Role Description

We are seeking a full-time Architectural Designer for our Mumbai office. This on-site role will involve creating innovative designs for residential, mixed-use developments, and master planning. Day-to-day tasks include developing architectural concepts, preparing construction and presentation drawings, and collaborating with project teams from initial planning to execution. The role requires coordinating across disciplines to ensure alignment between design and engineering, as well as adherence to project timelines and specifications.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Architecture and Architectural Design, with a strong portfolio demonstrating creative and technical expertise.
• Experience in schematic and concept design for residential properties and ability to thoughtfully plan spaces
• Experience in preparing Construction Drawings and technical documentation for residential and mixed-use projects.
• Knowledge of Urban Planning principles and the ability to apply them in master planning and large-scale projects.
• Strong Drawing skills with attention to detail and an eye for aesthetics and functionality.
• Proficiency in architectural software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar tools.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including engineers and project managers.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or a related field.
• Familiarity with local building codes and regulations is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Requirements

Candidates for this position must exhibit a strong design thinking sense, sound technical skills, and an ability to contribute to a creative process to develop innovative design concepts and solutions from simple partis. Candidates should be willing to display a portfolio that showcases their theoretical design ideas and end-to-end thought process for concept and space planning. Candidates should also be willing to complete research on architectural precedents and contemporary projects for inspiration. Ideal candidates will demonstrate the following attributes:

• 3-6 years of professional experience in architecture (full-time)
• Strong graphics, design, organization, and communication skills.
• Expert level profiency in SketchUp, AutoCAD, and Revit
• Excellent skills in 3D Modeling (Rhino) and Rendering (Enscape, V-ray).
• Outstanding graphic design skills (Adobe Creative Suite).
• Ability to communicate design ideas and direction clearly and effectively.
• Collaborative and professional work ethic.
• Basic knowledge of materials, construction methods, and building codes.
• Excellent problem solver with good listening skills and strong follow-through.
• Experience with multi-family, commercial, or mixed-use building design preferred.
