Job Title: Architectural Designer EV Charger Installation & Site Construction

About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Architectural Designer with strong experience in EV charger installation projects and site development. The ideal candidate will be proficient in AutoCAD or ZWCAD, SketchUp 3D, and have a solid understanding of architectural standards, site planning, utility layouts, and construction coordination. This role plays a critical part in developing accurate design packages, ensuring compliance, and supporting smooth project execution.
Key Responsibilities :-
Prepare architectural layout drawings, site plans, and installation details for EV charging stations (AC & DC fast chargers).
Develop 2D drawings using AutoCAD/ZWCAD and detailed 3D models using SketchUp for concept visualization and client presentations.
Conduct site assessments and create design proposals based on field data, measurements, and project requirements.
Coordinate with electrical engineers, civil teams, and contractors to incorporate utility routing, trenching paths, equipment pads, and vehicle circulation.
Work closely with project managers to maintain design accuracy, timelines, and quality throughout multiple simultaneous projects.
Support communication with clients, vendors, and permitting authorities as needed.
Qualifications & Skills :-
Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Civil or related field (preferred).
25+ years of architectural design experience; EV charging/infrastructure experience is a strong plus.
Proficiency in AutoCAD or ZWCAD, SketchUp 3D, and familiarity with rendering tools.
Strong understanding of site planning, building codes, parking layouts, and construction methods.
Ability to read and interpret architectural, civil, and electrical plans.
