Job Title: QA Automation Engineer

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled QA Automation Engineer with extensive experience in Pega to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing automated test scripts, ensuring the quality and reliability of our applications. This role requires a deep understanding of Pega and a strong background in automation testing methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for Pega applications.
• Collaborate with development and product teams to understand requirements and create test plans.
• Execute automated tests and analyze results to identify defects and areas for improvement.
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability and quality.
• Continuously improve testing processes and tools to enhance efficiency.
• Document test cases, test results, and defects in a clear and concise manner.
• Mentor junior QA team members on automation best practices.
  
  

Mandatory Skills

• Proven experience with Pega platform and its testing frameworks.
• Strong proficiency in automation testing tools and frameworks.
• Experience with scripting languages such as Java, Python, or similar.
• Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
  
  

Preferred Skills

• Experience with performance testing tools.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Familiarity with cloud-based testing environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 10-15 years of experience in QA automation, with a focus on Pega.
• Relevant certifications in QA or automation testing are a plus.
