Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Customer Due Diligence (CDD): Perform routine and complex KYC/CDD/EDD reviews for new and existing clients, ensuring completeness and accuracy of information.
Regulatory Compliance: Support AML (Anti-Money Laundering) and sanctions screening processes to mitigate financial crime risks.
Data & Documentation: Validate client documentation against regulatory requirements and internal policy frameworks. Manage data integrity within CLM systems.
Risk Assessment: Assist in the identification and escalation of high-risk profiles or discrepancies found during the onboarding or periodic review lifecycle.
Stakeholder Communication: Act as a point of contact for internal stakeholders (Sales, Compliance, Operations) to facilitate smooth client onboarding and remediation.
Reporting: Track and report on status updates, turnaround times, and compliance metrics to ensure adherence to SLA requirements.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
Experience: 0–2 years of experience in financial services, specifically within KYC/AML/CLM operations or general banking compliance.
Domain Knowledge: Foundational understanding of KYC lifecycle, AML regulations, and customer onboarding processes.
Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze facts, figures, and data; attention to detail is critical.
Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in MS Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP) and experience with banking systems or CRM platforms is preferred.
Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to manage stakeholder interactions and documentation effectively.
