Job Description
About the Role
VBHC is looking for experienced and detail-oriented Architects to join its in-house team in Mumbai and Bengaluru. The role involves architectural design review, consultant coordination, regulatory compliance, and technical support for residential real estate projects, ensuring design quality and smooth execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Review architectural drawings, layouts, and design proposals from external architects and consultants.
- Ensure compliance with local building regulations, DCPR, statutory approvals, and project specifications.
- Coordinate with structural, MEP, landscape, and other consultants.
- Identify design conflicts, constructability issues, and value engineering opportunities.
- Support site teams in resolving design-related queries.
- Participate in design reviews and provide technical recommendations.
- Ensure timely drawing reviews, approvals, and version control.
- Coordinate with liaison teams for statutory approvals.
- Support feasibility studies, design presentations, and project evaluations.
Desired Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of residential architecture and construction practices.
- Understanding of Mumbai and Bengaluru building regulations and applicable codes.
- Expertise in architectural drawing review, detailing, and design coordination.
- Knowledge of construction methodologies and site execution.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to identify design discrepancies and resolve technical issues proactively.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Architecture (B.Arch / M.Arch).
- Registration with the Council of Architecture (CoA).
Experience
- Relevant experience in residential real estate development, architectural consultancy, or construction.
- Hands-on experience in architectural design review and consultant coordination.
- Selection will be based on relevant experience and expertise, irrespective of age.
