Job Description

Intro

We are hiring a Business Development Manager for a leading company in lighting segments dealing with premium products. The role involves driving business through Architects, Interior Designers, Builders, and Project Consultants across Telangana & Andhra Pradesh / Tamil Nadu & Kerala. Candidates with 5–7 years of experience in specification sales, architect sales, or project sales within premium building materials, luxury interiors, lighting, sanitary ware, surfaces, façade, or related industries - dealing with premium Products (Product Cost more than Rs 10000 per Unit) are encouraged to apply.

Location: Hyderabad / Chennai /Cochin

Experience: 5–7 Years

CTC: Up to ₹18 LPA

Travel: Travel across Telangana & Andhra Pradesh is mandatory.

Notice Period: Immediate to 30 Days Preferred.

Ideal Candidate

  • 5–7 years of experience in Architect Sales, Specification Sales, Project Sales, or Business Development.
  • Strong relationships with Architects, Interior Designers, Builders, Consultants, and Premium Contractors.
  • Experience selling premium building materials, architectural products, luxury interior products, sanitary ware, lighting, surfaces, façade products, flooring, glass solutions, doors/windows, or related products.
  • Proven track record of generating specifications and project opportunities.
  • Willingness to travel extensively across Telangana & Andhra Pradesh / Tamil Nadu & Kerala
  • Strong communication, presentation, and networking skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and strengthen relationships with Architects, Interior Designers, PMCs, and key project influencers.
  • Conduct product presentations, specification meetings, and design consultations.
  • Identify and develop opportunities in luxury villas, bungalows, premium residential projects, luxury apartments, hospitality projects, premium commercial buildings, and luxury automobile showrooms.
  • Generate demand by securing product specifications at the design stage.
  • Map upcoming projects and distribute qualified opportunities to the dealer/channel partner network.
  • Conduct regular market visits and maintain a strong influencer engagement program.
  • Expand the company's architect and consultant network across the territory.
  • Gather market intelligence and competitor insights.
