Mandatory Skills

1. Strong expertise in GIS data processing (Shapefiles, GeJSON, PostGIS, OSM).

2. Deep knowledge of NDS Classic and NDS Live data models

3. Proficiency in programming languages (Python, C++, Java) for architectural prototyping and automation.

3. Experience with ETL frameworks, schema mapping, and large-scale data migration.

4. Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GP) and CI/CD pipelines.

Job Description

The Architect will define and oversee the technical architecture for converting raw map data from multiple providers (HERE, TomTom, MapMyindia, etc.) into NDS Classic and NDS Live formats. This role requires deep expertise in geo-spatial data engineering, database design, and system integration to ensure high-quality, scalable, and compliant solutions for automotive navigation platforms.

1. Define end-to-end architecture for MAP database conversion, including ingestion, transformation, validation, and storage.

2. Design schema mapping strategies to align raw formats (GDF, MDR, PIR) with NDS specifications.

3. Establish standards for incremental updates, delta handling, and optimized database performance
