Role - Python + Linux Engineer

Skillset

• Python: Expert-level (Senior) or Strong (Mid) proficiency in Python, focusing on

maintainability and performance.

• Cloud/GCP: Experience with GCP.

• Linux: Exposure of Linux systems to support high-performance workstation

environments.

• Data & Observability: Exposure in log analysis, SQL-based monitoring, and

implementing SRE principles at scale.

Responsibilities

• Advanced Troubleshooting: Triage complex bugs and provide robust Python-based

fixes. Senior Level engineers are expected to identify systemic patterns in bugs to

prevent future regressions.

• Observability: Lead efforts in monitoring and alerting; analyze the full stack to

isolate issues across GCP services or internal partner dependencies.

• Reliability Engineering: Perform critical KTLO operations and engineering tasks. This

includes adapting the Python codebase to remain compatible with evolving GCP

infrastructure and Linux kernel updates.

• Acknowledging & providing resolution to any incidents / requests

• Initial triaging, troubleshooting, and carrying out the initial RCA for all the bugs.

• Resolving the bugs & escalating the bugs which cannot be resolved to engineering

team.
