About the job

This is a full-time on-site role of an Architect Intern at Atelier Astil.. The office is located in the

heart of Bangalore opposite the Uloor Lake Near M G Road Bangalore

As an Architecture intern at Atelier Astil, you will

 Assist senior architects in developing design concepts.

 Help in drafting and rendering design ideas using software like AutoCAD, Revit,

SketchUp,.

 Contribute to brainstorming sessions and concept development.Create and modify

technical drawings and plans under the guidance of licensed architects.

 Update project documents, floor plans, elevations, sections, and details.Produce 3D

models to visualize architectural designs.Render images and produce presentation

materials to communicate design ideas to clients and team members.

 Prepare construction documents and assist in detailing for various projects.Participate in

site visits to understand the construction process.

 Take field measurements and record observations for project updates.

 Assist with coordination between various consultants (e.g., structural, mechanical,

electrical).Conduct research on materials, products, building codes, and sustainability

practices.

 Analyze design precedents, building technologies, and site conditions to support the

project goals.

 Help in organizing project files, drawings, and documentation.

 Assist in preparing documents for permits, zoning, and client approvals.

 Participate in team meetings, taking notes, and following up on action items.

 Gain exposure to best practices in design, documentation, and project management.

 Learn about local building codes, zoning laws, and safety regulations that influence

design.

Key Skills for an Architectural Intern

 Proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite).

 Basic understanding of building codes and construction processes.
