  • Experience Required: Minimum 10 years of professional experience, with substantial exposure to MCGM-related projects

  • We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Architect with strong expertise in handling projects under MCGM regulations. The candidate will be responsible for planning, designing, coordinating, and executing architectural works while ensuring compliance with all statutory approvals and local authority norms.

Key Skills & Responsibilities

  • Prepare architectural designs, drawings, and detailed project reports in compliance with MCGM norms and Development Control Regulations (DCR).

  • Liaise with MCGM officials for approvals, submissions, and follow-ups.

  • Handle end-to-end approval processes including IOD, CC, OC, and amendments.

  • Coordinate with structural consultants, MEP consultants, and contractors for design integration.

  • Conduct site visits to ensure execution as per approved drawings and specifications.

  • Manage documentation, drawings, and revisions as per statutory requirements.

  • Review tender drawings, BOQs, and assist in technical evaluation.

  • Ensure compliance with safety, sustainability, and environmental guidelines.

  • Guide junior architects and drafting teams.

  • Strong knowledge of MCGM approval procedures and local building by-laws.

  • Expertise in Development Control & Promotion Regulations (DCPR 2034).

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and MS Office.

  • Good coordination and communication skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines efficiently.

Educational Qualification

Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Architecture (B. Arch / M. Arch).

Registration with Council of Architecture (COA) will be preferred.
