Job Description

We are seeking an Architect (Design and Co-ordination) for the Real Estate Industry to support the design and architectural coordination of multiple projects. You will be responsible for monitoring project development to ensure functional and aesthetic features are properly incorporated, as well as coordinating with external architects, consultants, and internal departments. This role requires a professional who can drive accurate design development, assist in creating presentation drawings, and manage design changes throughout the project lifecycle.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Design & Architectural Coordination: Support the design and architectural coordination function to achieve project objectives across multiple projects. Monitor project development to ensure proper incorporation of functional and aesthetic features.
  • External Coordination: Coordinate with external architects and consultants. Convey design briefs, review concept designs for legal compliance, and evaluate options to arrive at a final concept.
  • Design Development: Drive expeditious and accurate design development by coordinating with RCC consultants for structural concepts, MEPF consultants for service details, and specialist vendors for building installations.
  • Internal Coordination: Coordinate with the construction department for specifications, amenity lists, project budgets, and timelines.
  • Drawing Management: Coordinate for the timely development and issue of conceptual, municipal, tender, sale plans, and GFC drawings according to project schedules.
  • Site Coordination: Provide and verify building coordinates, monitor execution regularly, assist in material selection, and validate at sites. Control and manage design changes due to site conditions and customer requests.

Skills Required:

  • Graduate or postgraduate degree in architecture from a recognized institute.
  • Flair for design review and design coordination.
  • Awareness of Mumbai Development Control Regulations.
  • High proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office.
  • Strong planning, organizing, influencing, and interpersonal skills.
  • Effective spoken English and a team-player attitude.

QUALIFICATION:

  • A graduate or postgraduate degree in architecture is a key requirement.
