Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced
Senior Architect cum Engineering Manager to lead the design, development, and delivery of enterprise-scale applications and cloud-native solutions. The ideal candidate will combine strong technical architecture expertise with exceptional people management skills, driving engineering excellence while mentoring and leading high-performing teams.
This role requires deep hands-on experience in
.NET Core,
Azure Cloud, and
Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), along with the ability to provide architectural guidance, solution design, and technical leadership across multiple projects. Exposure to
Salesforce integrations and ecosystem is a significant advantage.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Leadership & Architecture
- Define and drive enterprise architecture, technology strategy, and solution roadmaps.
- Design scalable, secure, and high-performance cloud-native applications using .NET Core and Azure services.
- Lead architecture reviews, design discussions, and technical decision-making.
- Establish best practices for software architecture, coding standards, DevOps, security, and performance optimization.
- Provide hands-on guidance in designing and implementing microservices, APIs, event-driven architectures, and containerized solutions.
- Drive adoption of cloud-native technologies, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure automation.
Engineering Management
- Lead, mentor, and develop engineering teams, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Conduct performance reviews, career development planning, and technical coaching.
- Manage team capacity, resource planning, hiring, and talent development.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, product owners, business leaders, and cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
- Resolve technical and organizational challenges while maintaining team productivity and engagement.
Delivery & Governance
- Ensure architecture compliance, quality standards, and governance processes are followed.
- Monitor project execution, risks, dependencies, and delivery timelines.
- Drive technical excellence through design reviews, code reviews, and architectural oversight.
- Support pre-sales activities, solution estimations, and technical proposals when required.
Required Skills & Experience
Technical Skills
- 12+ years of experience in software development, architecture, and technical leadership roles.
- Strong hands-on expertise in:
- C#
- ASP.NET Core / .NET Core
- REST APIs and Microservices Architecture
- Azure Cloud Services
- Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
- Docker and Containerization
- Azure DevOps / CI-CD Pipelines
- SQL Server and database design
- Experience with cloud architecture patterns, distributed systems, scalability, and resiliency design.
- Strong understanding of security, monitoring, logging, and performance optimization.
Leadership Skills
- Proven experience managing engineering teams and leading multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to mentor architects, technical leads, and developers.
- Demonstrated experience driving technical transformation and organizational growth.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of Salesforce platform, integrations, and ecosystem.
- Experience with event-driven architectures and messaging platforms.
- Exposure to Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM, Bicep, etc.).
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Azure certifications and architecture certifications are highly desirable.
