Architect - (Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory, PySpark, Star, Snowflake)

CGI is hiring a Senior Software Engineer – Azure Data Engineering to design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and analytical data models on the Azure platform.

Experience: 9-15 years

Interview Process

• Round 1: Virtual interview through an AI-based assessment tool
• Round 2: Face-to-face technical interview at the CGI office

Key Responsibilities

• Architect end-to-end data solutions using Azure Databricks and Azure Data Factory
• Define dimensional data models using Star and Snowflake schemas
• Experience in Kimball methodology preferred
• Establish Medallion Architecture standards and data governance frameworks
• Drive architectural decisions for scalability, performance, and reliability
• Define PySpark development standards and optimization guidelines
• Guide engineering teams on best practices in data modeling and pipeline design
• Collaborate with stakeholders on data strategy and roadmap
