Architect

Overview

We are looking for a talented and motivated Architect with 2–3 years of professional experience to join our architectural and design team. The candidate will be involved in architectural planning, working drawings, 3D visualization, coordination with consultants, and site-related work.

Responsibilities

• Prepare concept designs, architectural plans, elevations, sections and working drawings.
• Develop detailed architectural drawings as per project requirements.
• Work on residential, commercial, institutional, hospitality and other architectural projects.
• Develop 3D models, views and presentations for design proposals.
• Coordinate with structural, MEP and other consultants.
• Assist in preparation of BOQs, material specifications and design documentation.
• Visit project sites and coordinate with contractors and site teams when required.
• Ensure that drawings and designs comply with applicable building bye-laws, codes and regulations.
• Participate in client meetings and assist in presenting design proposals.
• Maintain proper documentation and organization of project drawings and files.
  
  

Requirements

• Good knowledge of AutoCAD is essential.
• Working knowledge of SketchUp / 3D modelling software.
• Knowledge of Lumion, Enscape, V-Ray or similar rendering software will be an advantage.
• Knowledge of Photoshop and presentation software.
• Good understanding of architectural planning and construction detailing.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings.
• Good knowledge of materials, finishes and construction methods.
• Basic understanding of building bye-laws and approval requirements.
• Strong design sense and attention to detail.
• Qualifications
• B.Arch. / Bachelor of Architecture from a recognized institution.
• 2–3 years of relevant professional experience in an architectural firm or consultancy.
