Job Description

  • Assessment of the existing NSX-T environment and dependencies with vSphere infrastructure.
  • Design and implementation of NSX-T architecture, including Managers, Controllers, Edge Nodes, and Transport Nodes.
  • Configuration and management of logical switching and routing components such as Segments, Tier-0 and Tier-1 Gateways.
  • Deployment and tuning of Distributed Firewall (DFW) and Gateway Firewall (GFW) policies, including micro-segmentation, rule creation, and policy optimization.
  • Configuration and management of Edge Services, including Load Balancer, NAT, and VPN.
  • Integration of NSX with vCenter, vSphere Distributed Switches (vDS), and third-party networking tools.
  • Troubleshooting and analysis using packet capture tools (e.g., Wireshark) and NSX diagnostic utilities.
  • Use of REST API, Curl, and Postman for automation, monitoring, and validation of NSX operations.
  • Documentation of configurations, architectures, and operational procedures.
    Knowledge transfer sessions for customer operations teams.
