Role Overview:
We are seeking a qualified Architect with hands-on professional experience to work on architectural projects from concept development through execution. The role demands strong design thinking, technical proficiency, and the ability to coordinate across multiple project stakeholders while working closely within a studio environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop architectural concepts, schematic designs, and detailed drawings
- Prepare design development, working drawings, and GFC drawings
- Ensure compliance with local building codes, regulations, and design standards
- Coordinate with structural, MEP, and other consultants
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand requirements and present design solutions
- Conduct regular site visits to review progress and ensure adherence to drawings and specifications
- Assist in resolving on-site design and execution challenges
- Maintain organized project documentation and drawing records
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet project deadlines
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Architecture (B.Arch)
- Minimum 2 years of relevant professional experience IN DESIGN ARCHITECTURAL FIRM
- Proficiency in CAD (mandatory)
- Working knowledge of Sketch Up, Lumion, or similar software preferred
- Strong understanding of construction drawings, materials, and detailing
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Willingness to work from the Thane office
