Detailed JD

  • Strong expertise in performance tuning, query optimization, and troubleshooting
  • Hands-on experience with Azure SQL (PaaS), SQL Server, Oracle, and PostgreSQL
  • Strong knowledge of ETL processes and data integration techniques
  • Experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF) for data ingestion and transformation
  • Expertise in data security, compliance, and governance controls
  • Experience managing sensitive data and implementing security best practices
  • Strong knowledge of backup, restore, and disaster recovery strategies
  • Experience in designing high availability and scalable database solutions
  • Skilled in monitoring database performance and resource utilization
  • Hands-on experience in automation using scripting (PowerShell or similar)
  • Strong experience in incident management, troubleshooting, and RCA
  • Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure/AWS)
  • Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and large-scale data systems
  • Experience in data migration and modernization projects
