As a Developer / Senior Developer, you will play a key role in the design, development, and implementation of MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems) and MOM (Manufacturing Operations Management) solutions for large industrial clients. You will work closely with Solution Architects, Project Managers, and cross-functional teams to create high-quality, scalable, and efficient solutions. Your technical expertise will drive the execution of the software and ensure alignment with business needs, focusing on both the functional and technical components of the projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement MES / MOM solutions with a focus on creating robust, scalable, and maintainable systems.
- Collaborate with Solution Architects and other stakeholders to define and understand the technical requirements for the project.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code for both backend and frontend components, primarily focused on integrating with MES systems.
- Participate in design workshops to gain a deeper understanding of the client's business needs and contribute to solution design and technical specifications.
- Ensure the successful deployment of solutions, including handling integration with existing systems and ensuring that new implementations meet customer expectations.
- Provide support for ongoing development and enhancement efforts, ensuring alignment with the overall architecture and business objectives.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal system performance.
- Adhere to software development best practices, coding standards, and security guidelines throughout the project lifecycle.
- Conduct unit and integration testing to ensure the quality of the developed solution.
- Document development activities, including design decisions, code, and process steps for future reference.
- Actively participate in code reviews and provide mentorship to junior developers on the team.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate project deliveries.
- Support the maintenance and ongoing evolution of the solution post-deployment.
Required Skills and Experience
- Minimum of 2-8 years of experience as a developer, with a strong background in developing MES and MOM systems.
- Hands-on experience with Apriso (2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, or 2021) or similar MES/MOM platforms is highly preferred.
- Solid proficiency in .NET technologies (C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core), along with experience in web development frameworks and languages (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery).
- Strong understanding of Process Builder, Machine Integration, and Business Integration within MES environments.
- Experience in building and maintaining scalable enterprise-level applications.
- Proven ability to work in an Agile development environment with an understanding of release management and version control.
- Familiarity with deployment processes, integration tools, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Experience in database design, SQL, and integration with ERP or other enterprise systems.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with business and technical teams.
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing or similar industrial concepts is a plus.
- Willingness to travel when required to client sites for project implementation or support.

- Responsible for meeting the specific needs of the project while aligning with wider enterprise architecture.

- Experience with Agile and DevOps practices.
- Exposure to Cloud technologies and modern development practices.
- Knowledge of industry-standard tools for source control (Git, TFS), project management (JIRA, Confluence), and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Azure DevOps).
- Ability to mentor junior developers and contribute to a team-oriented environment.
