Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Apptio FinOps and Dashboard Analyst to support and enhance Technology Business Management (TBM), cloud financial management, and executive reporting capabilities.

The candidate will manage Apptio dashboards, cloud cost analytics, KPI reporting, financial data governance, and cost optimization initiatives across cloud and infrastructure environments.

Key Responsibilities

1. Apptio Platform Management

• Administer and support Apptio TBM, ApptioOne, and FinOps platforms.
• Manage cost models, allocations, mappings, and data integrations.
• Maintain financial hierarchies, business mappings, and service cost structures.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.

2. Dashboard Development & Executive Reporting

• Design, develop, and maintain executive KPI dashboards using Apptio and Power BI.
• Create dashboards for cloud spending, budget vs. actuals, savings realization, infrastructure KPIs, and resource utilization.
• Prepare executive reports, leadership scorecards, and trend analysis.

3. FinOps & Cloud Cost Optimization

• Analyze AWS, Azure, and GCP consumption and spending trends.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend optimization measures.
• Track Reserved Instances, Savings Plans, and commitment utilization.
• Monitor cloud waste, idle resources, and underutilized assets.
• Support chargeback and showback models across business units.

4. Dynamic Trackers & Analytics

• Develop automated trackers for savings initiatives, budget utilization, cost avoidance, and cloud modernization.
• Implement KPI scorecards and trend analysis.
• Build forecasting models for cloud and infrastructure spending.

5. Data Management & Governance

• Validate and reconcile financial and operational data.
• Ensure data quality across financial, cloud, CMDB, and operational systems.
• Support automated data ingestion and transformation.
• Drive reporting standardization and governance.

6. Stakeholder Management

• Collaborate with Finance, Infrastructure, Cloud, Service Management, and Leadership teams.
• Present executive insights and cost optimization recommendations.
• Support governance reviews, business reviews, and strategic planning discussions.

Required Skills

• Hands-on experience with Apptio and Technology Business Management (TBM).
• Strong understanding of FinOps and cloud cost management.
• Experience developing dashboards and KPI reports.
• Knowledge of cloud spending across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Strong analytical, financial reporting, and stakeholder management skills.
