Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Microsoft SQL Application Developer with experience in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining SQL-based applications, ensuring high performance and scalability. This role involves both database management and cloud integration, as well as collaboration with various teams to meet business requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain complex SQL-based applications and databases.
- Integrate SQL applications with Google Cloud Platform services.
- Develop and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code using SQL, including stored procedures, functions, and triggers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, QA, and product management, to identify and prioritize project requirements.
- Develop and execute database queries and conduct analyses.
- Optimize database performance and ensure data integrity.
- Conduct unit testing and troubleshooting to ensure the functionality and performance of applications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex database issues, including performance optimization and data integrity.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in database development, applying this knowledge to continuously improve our database systems.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Proven experience as a SQL Application Developer with knowledge of Google Cloud Platform.
- Strong knowledge of SQL Server, SSIS, including T-SQL, stored procedures, and performance tuning.
- Experience with cloud platforms like Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Desired Skills:
- Experience with .Net technologies such as C# and ASP.NET.
- Knowledge of software design principles such as SOLID and Domain-Driven Design.
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
- Understanding of Agile methodologies and project management tools.
