Apprenticeship — Structure & Organisation (HR)

Classic Narrative is an independent House engaged in research, narrative, creativity and strategic thinking.

The House operates at a limited scale and admits individuals selectively.

At defined intervals, a small number are invited to enter a structured period of Apprenticeship.

The Apprenticeship

The Apprenticeship is a six-week engagement designed for the development of:

— clarity of thought

— structured observation

— disciplined execution

It is not a conventional internship.

It is conducted privately, with emphasis on independent work and measured review.

Participation is voluntary and educational in nature.

It does not constitute employment.

Structure

Six weeks

— Phase I (2 Weeks): Orientation and internal study

— Phase II (4 Weeks): Applied work and interpretation

Rhythm

Approximately 10–12 hours per week

Self-directed, remote

Work proceeds independently.

Review occurs at defined intervals.

Practice Area - Organisational Practice

The Apprenticeship engages with the internal functioning of the House.

Work during the applied phase may include:

— preparation and structuring of communication

— coordination of applicant flow and scheduling

— maintenance of internal records and documentation

— execution of selection processes

— organisation of digital material and archives

The emphasis is on how organisations think, organise, and refine.

The work is operational in form, but requires clarity and consistency in execution.

Through this, the Apprentice gains direct exposure to how a small, independent House structures, evaluates, and refines its internal processes.

Who this is suited for

Individuals who:

— are comfortable working independently

— value clarity over speed

— are attentive to structure and detail

— are willing to work without constant direction

Eligibility

Open to individuals currently pursuing, or recently completing, university education.

Acknowledgement

A formal acknowledgement is issued upon completion.

Consideration

The House reviews requests privately.

A limited number of individuals are invited to a structured conversation.
