NMDC Steel Limited (NSL) is conducting walk-in drive for Trade Apprentices under
Apprenticeship Act-1961, Eligible candidate having the requisite qualification as mentioned against the respective category may attend walk-in drive on the dates mentioned against each category.
1 COPA /40 Posts
Qualifications: (COPA) Trade Certificate, 1 year regular course
2 Welder/ 20 Posts
Qualifications: Welder Trade Certificate, 1 year regular course
Walk-in drive date : 13/01/2026
3 Mechanical /20 Posts
Qualifications: Fitter - Trade Certificate. 2 year regular course
Walk-in drive date : 14/01/2026
Qualifications: Electrician Trade Certificate. 2 year regular course 15/01/2026
Walk-in drive date : 12/01/2026
Venue: HRD Centre, NMDC Steel Limited. Studio Apartment Chokawada. DistBastar. Chhattisgarh 494001.
The walk-in drive will be conducted on the dates, time and venue as mentioned against each trade. The Candidate who have already completed Apprenticeship Training under the Apprentice Act 1961 are not eligible for apprentice ship and need not to attend walk in drive.
The candidates appearing for the Walk-In-Drive shall not be paid or reimbursed any TA/DA. The scheme shall not guarantee any employment on completion of apprenticeship training.
The candidates attending for Walk-In-Drive for COPA trade are required to come prepare for the typing test.
No accommodation facilities will be provided by NSL for the candidates attending the walk-in drive. The candidates should come prepare for the stay for more than one day if required at his cost.
Candidates will be selected based on the screen test and selected candidates will be paid stipend as per DGT Guidelines.
The selection of SC/ST/OBC will be as per Apprenticeship Rules 1992 and as per the quota fixed by the Govt.
