We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Estimation Engineer to join our Interior Fit-Out team. The candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate quantity take-offs, cost estimates, and vendor comparisons to support project execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and analyze project drawings, specifications, and BOQs.
- Estimate quantities using AutoCAD and other estimation software tools.
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for interior fit-out projects.
- Send enquiries to vendors and subcontractors for pricing.
- Collect quotations, evaluate offers, and prepare comparative statements.
- Coordinate with project managers and procurement teams to finalize vendors.
- Maintain updated records of estimation data and vendor databases.
- Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with project requirements.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of interior fit-out materials, finishes, and construction methods.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and estimation software.
- Ability to interpret architectural and interior design drawings.
- Good negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Strong analytical and numerical ability.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in estimation.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
Location: Chennai
Tenure: 12 Months
Stipend: 15000 per month
Experience: Freshers with internship experience in estimation
Qualification: Diploma / Degree in Civil / Interior Design / Architecture or related field
