Key Responsibilities
ESG Data Collection & Analysis
- Collect ESG metrics such as carbon emissions, water usage, and labor-related data
- Gather data from company reports, disclosures, and third-party sources
- Validate and structure sustainability-related datasets for reporting and analysis
Sustainability Reporting Support
- Assist in preparing ESG reports aligned with frameworks such as GRI, SASB, TCFD, and BRSR
- Support development of sustainability disclosures for internal and external stakeholders
- Ensure accuracy and consistency in ESG reporting outputs
Benchmarking & Market Analysis
- Conduct peer and industry benchmarking on ESG performance
- Analyze sustainability trends and competitor ESG practices
- Support development of insights based on comparative ESG data
Risk Monitoring & Compliance Tracking
- Track regulatory updates impacting ESG compliance (e.g., SEBI, RBI guidelines)
- Monitor ESG-related risks affecting organizational or investment decisions
- Support compliance with sustainability and reporting standards
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work with Finance, Operations, HR, and other teams to integrate ESG data into business processes
- Support embedding sustainability targets into operational workflows
- Coordinate data requirements across departments
Data Management & Visualization
- Use Excel for data analysis, cleaning, and manipulation
- Support creation of dashboards and reports using tools like Power BI
- Translate complex datasets into clear, actionable insights
Continuous Improvement
- Identify gaps in ESG data collection and reporting processes
- Support improvement of data quality, consistency, and governance
- Contribute to automation and enhancement of reporting systems
